History
For over thirty years, Lindsey’s Entertainment has served both Baton Rouge and the Southeastern United States as the leading party and event planning headquarters. Lindsey’s Spacewalks, Lindsey’s Adventure Park, Lindsey’s Amusements and now, Lindsey’s Entertainment—though the names have changed, the extraordinary standard of service always remains the same. A Baton Rouge institution, Lindsey’s has a proud and remarkable history.
In 1976, the Lindsey’s team began to notice a change in children’s birthday parties. The days of streamers and pin the tail on the donkey were over. We searched and soon discovered a new product, and with the purchase of a single spacewalk the Lindsey’s legacy had begun. Before long, Lindsey’s had become the premier spot for children’s party rentals. In 1982, Lindsey’s moved into is previous location on Sherwood Forest Boulevard and shortly introduced Lindsey’s Adventure Park. Now, in addition to rentals, Baton Rouge customers had their first all-inclusive birthday party location.
Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, Lindsey’s industry presence began to expand and grow throughout South Louisiana. In time, Lindsey’s had become the area’s foremost corporate event provider. Over the years the inclusion of Lindsey’s Formal Events, Lindsey’s Tents and Lindsey’s Bouncing Tigers has expanded our already widespread empire. And we continue to grow. Recently, we have moved to a new location and we now house all of our divisions under one roof in order to even better serve our customers. Lindsey's unparalleled experience, knowledgeable staff and far-reaching resources make Lindsey’s your ultimate event authority.
